KARTING:

QS. DO YOU HAVE TO GO IN A GROUP?

Not at all. Most people come up in small groups or with their families.
You are quite welcome to come up on your own, although it is always more fun in a group.

QS. I'M ONLY A BEGINNER - DO I HAVE TO RACE WITH EXPERIENCED DRIVERS?

We want you to have an enjoyable experience, so we won't put you in 'at the deep end'. For your first time, why not come up with some friends and we will arrange to let you race on your own. We give you a pre-race briefing on how to safely get the best fun out of your kart.

QS. WHAT AGE GROUP IS IT SUITABLE FOR?

Karting is suitable for all ages, but generally children start from 9 years of age upwards depending on their height. We have junior karts for children which obviously don't go as fast as the adult version. The minimum height is around 53 inches or 4.6 ft.

QS. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?

Helmets, gloves and race wear will be provided. We would suggest flat, comfortable shoes, possibly runners. Long hair must be tied back and kept inside the helmet at all times.

QS. HOW DO I GO ABOUT ORGANISING A RACE FOR MY OWN GROUP OR CORPORATE EVENT?

QS. HOW LONG WILL THE RACE MEETING TAKE?

A Grand Prix race for 20 drivers can take about 2 hours to run.
For larger numbers it is approximately one hour for every 10 drivers.


QS. WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T LIKE IT?

If you do not like karting and do not want to continue driving, try to stop as close to the pits area as possible and remain in your kart until a marshall comes to your assistance. Go straight to reception and your money will be refunded accordingly.


QS. IS THERE ANY DISCOUNT ON GROUP BOOKINGS?

Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more during midweek. Certain discounts packages are available for groups at weekends. See our Package Combo page.

QS. DO YOU HAVE CATERING?

Puddenhill restaurant is open every Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday serving a full bar menu on a Saturday & full carvery on Sundays & Bank Holidays. Food can be booked midweek for large groups on request.
